Jamaican boas
These are Epicrates sublevels and are endangered in Jamaica. They frequent the sugar cane plantations where the workers are in fear of them and hack them to death with their machetes. They are in fact a very gentle species and show no aggression at all. The worst I have suffered from them is musking, the males are the worst, and believe you me it reeks.
They are arboreal snakes, and my 3 spend most of their time in one big cluster. They are the only snakes I don't separate to feed, I put a selection of small mice , fuzzies and ratpups on a dish and let them help themselves. It seems to work except Ginger, my female, often covers the food so she gets what she wants first so now I put 2 dishes in at opposite ends of the viv to give the boys a chance.
I'm hoping they will breed for me. Unlike most boas whose young are born in their sacks, Jamaicans emerge from their sacks inside the mother and are born completely free and,it's thought the mother re-absorbs the remnants of the sacks.

Re: Jamaican boas
Around the £150-£200 each mark, so not too expensive.
My female was UK bred but my 2 boys were bred in Belgium.
